Enid Aldredge founded and leads Serving God’s Children Ministry, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting foster, adoptive, guardianship, and kinship families. Driven by her personal experience as a foster and adoptive mother, Enid established the ministry to address the significant gaps in support and resources she witnessed firsthand. Serving God’s Children Ministry provides essential resources, emotional support, and faith-based guidance to families navigating the challenges of caring for displaced children. Key initiatives include distributing essential care items, creating comprehensive resource leads, and establishing support networks where families can connect and share their experiences. Enid is committed to offering compassionate, practical, and faith-filled help to those in need.
I am a proud father of two beautiful daughters, and I know the deep joy that comes from both loving and being loved. Being part of this ministry allows me to use the blessings God has given me to support others as they care for the children entrusted to them in this season of life. my hope is that through this ministry, not only will children feel love and support they deserve, but that entire communities will be positively impacted as well.

I serve in several ministries at my church that support children and vulnerable populations in our community. As a stepmother, mother, and grandmother of ten—one of whom my husband and I have guardianship of—I understand the complexities of blended families. My personal journey has given me a unique perspective on the challenges families face, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that children and their families feel supported and loved. Through my work, I strive to meet the needs of our community with compassion and faith.
I’m Shawn Brandeberg, a mother of over 40 years, a grandmother for more than 20 years, and a retired educator with 30 years of teaching experience. I believe that families are divinely designed and blessed by God. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to work in school districts that served children placed in receiving homes after being removed from their families. My faith in God’s purpose for families, combined with my professional experience, has inspired me to support and participate in this ministry. With the passionate and enthusiastic involvement of others, I am confident that this ministry will bless the lives of children and the families who see the resources God has so graciously provided.
I’m a proud mother of four—three boys and one girl—and a grandmother to nine wonderful grandchildren. I’ve been a dedicated hairdresser for over 39 years, and I’ve also had the experience of driving school buses in the past, providing a safe ride for children. In addition to my work as a daycare provider and my current role as an emergency foster caregiver, I have a deep commitment to supporting children and families in need. I adopted my niece when she was a baby, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for over 50 foster children. My heart is dedicated to serving the community, with a special passion for our vulnerable children and families. I’m honored to be part of this board and continue my mission to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.
