Enid Aldredge
Founder of Serving God’s Children | Advocate for Foster & Kinship Families | Foster & Adoptive Mother | Community Leader
Enid Aldredge is the founder and leader of Serving God’s Children, a faith-based ministry devoted to supporting foster, adoptive, guardianship, and kinship families. Her journey began not just through ministry, but through motherhood — as a mother of six, including three adopted children, and a proud nana to three. Enid’s greatest joy is her family and the opportunity to be part of a community that blesses, encourages, and walks alongside others through life’s challenges.
After experiencing firsthand the emotional and practical gaps many caregivers face, Enid felt called to create a space where families could find real support, understanding, and hope. Serving God’s Children was born from that vision — a place where compassion meets action. Through the Caring Closet, caregiver support groups, resource connections, and community outreach, Enid works to ensure that children feel valued and families feel strengthened.
Known for her heart for advocacy and her faith-centered leadership, Enid strives to create environments where healing, encouragement, and connection can grow. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to serve with love, uplift families, and remind every child and caregiver that they are seen, supported, and never alone.

I am a proud father of two beautiful daughters, and I know the deep joy that comes from both loving and being loved. Being part of this ministry allows me to use the blessings God has given me to support others as they care for the children entrusted to them in this season of life. my hope is that through this ministry, not only will children feel love and support they deserve, but that entire communities will be positively impacted as well.

I serve in several ministries at my church that support children and vulnerable populations in our community. As a stepmother, mother, and grandmother of ten—one of whom my husband and I have guardianship of—I understand the complexities of blended families. My personal journey has given me a unique perspective on the challenges families face, and I am deeply committed to ensuring that children and their families feel supported and loved. Through my work, I strive to meet the needs of our community with compassion and faith.
